General Manager

Ben has 20 years’ experience in delivering ground investigation projects throughout the UK, contracts valued up to £3.5m.  Key skills include technical data analysis and interpretive report writing and authorisation. Responsible for a team of engineers, field operatives, foremen and technical laboratory staff.

 

Mark Lane, NVQ Land Drilling (level 3)

Site Operations Manager

Mark has 30 years’ experience in drilling, supervising and managing ground investigation projects throughout the UK. With extensive knowledge of drilling and monitoring techniques, Mark coordinates all site operations ensuring the highest quality and health/safety standards are maintained.

 

Andrew Elshof, BDA NVQ Land Drilling (level 2)

Drilling Supervisor

Andrew has 18 years’ experience of working in the field undertaking drilling and coring activities throughout the UK.  With extensive operational knowledge of many percussive and rotary methods Andrew provides coordination, support and training of our field crews.

 

Martin Heys, BSc (Hons) ACSM CGeol EurGeol FGs

Senior Engineer

Martin has eight years’ experience supervising ground investigations and preparing interpretive geo-environmental reports.  In addition, Martin has undertaken environmental monitoring, earthworks modelling and developed solutions for shallow abandoned mines.

Chris Heslin

Business Development Manager

Chris has over 10 years’ experience in business development and is the initial point of contact for clients. With a strong understanding of ground investigation activities Chris will assist in developing an appropriate scope and cost efficient quotation for your project.

 

John Tomalin, BSc FGs

Senior Engineer

John has over 30 years’ experience in delivering ground investigation projects throughout the UK.  With extensive geo-environmental knowledge John undertakes phase 1 and 2 activities and also provides site supervision, logging and lab support.

 

James Elliott, BDA

Laboratory Manager

James has 25 years’ experience in intrusive field and laboratory testing activities.  With state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, James oversees all soil and concrete testing and is responsible for maintaining and further developing our range of UKAS accredited tests.
